Computer Heroes, Inc. opens an exciting opportunity for local residents to order new computer systems from their Web site: www.computerheroes.com.

The online store allows the buyer to look at many different options for a new computer system. On the site, consumers can choose to configure the computer with simple or complex options. “The Website puts the consumer in control of prices and options,” said Eric T. Skelton, president. The price ranges for new computer systems are competitive with the big box companies, he continued, allowing Computer Heroes, Inc. to match or beat prices.

“The new online store gives our clients a cutting edge on computer technology,” Skelton said. “They are the ones in control and they not only get a great computer, the get the advantage of local service and local resources to turn to with questions.” That local face, Skelton said, makes his online store have a greater advantage than some of the other on-line stores available to consumers.

The online store opened in April. From the Computer Heroes homepage at www.computerheroes.com, consumers can quickly move into the computer system shopping area. They can then configure the system to have the components that they want in their computer. After they have made their choices, they can submit their order. Within 24 hours on weekdays, a staff member from Computer Heroes will contact the client to finalize the sale and arrange delivery.

“Shipping costs are lower since the systems can be delivered to our store. We can also arrange installation on site, transfer of data from existing systems and other details that are not available from other on-line stores,” Skelton said.
