1) Quote copy will not copy the same assembly part into a quote without an error occuring. The assembly description makes it into the new quote but when you click on details, there is nothing there.
2) When you copy an assembly into a new quote, and you have some parts that you you have put a zero quantity on also unchecking Print on Quote and unchecking Print on Invoice inside the assembly, QuoteCopy re-checks the box that says Print on Quote.
Neither of these things are very valuable to us. Is there a fix or a patch? Do we have an old version? V1.6 is what we are using. _________________ River Run |

Thank you for your submission. Version 1.6 is the latest version. We will look into these issues and probably release a fix for them if necessary. We will look into this next week. Thanks again. _________________ Josh Montgomery

I am using QuoteCopy again and I am trying to copy a specific part from one quote to another. It is not copying my part. The part is an assembly again. The first time it did copy the description of the part into a comment line but I haven't been able to get this utility to copy the correct part since. It seems like QuoteCopy works for everything except assemblies. That's where all our troubles seem to lie. _________________ River Run |

Okay. It appears that the problem could be with the way assemblies are handled in the utility. Thanks for your testing and clarification. We'll get back to you next week on what we can do to get this fixed up. Thanks again. _________________ Josh Montgomery

Are we ever going to get a resolution to these issues? This posting is useless if nothing happens about it. _________________ River Run |
