How about a utility that would copy time log comments over to either the general work performed or the work performed under a particular item serviced. Have options to control the format in how the comments are pasted over instead of just the one way that Tigerpaw allows you to do it. You could even have an option to copy to work performed of an item serviced, in which case, if there was more than one item serviced it could prompt you for which one.
